1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply to all services, products and website use connected with Harveys Angel.

This includes resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, Canva templates, personal branding support, headshot and image editing, AI-assisted content, digital products, career documents and related services.

By using this website, requesting a quote, approving a service, paying an invoice, submitting information, providing images or instructing Harveys Angel to begin work, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services

Harveys Angel provides professional resume writing, cover letters, LinkedIn profile support, Canva-based documents, personal branding assets, image and headshot enhancement, career positioning support, digital products and related services.

The exact services included will be confirmed in writing by quote, invoice, email, package description or agreed scope.

Anything not listed in the agreed scope may attract an additional fee.

3. Client Information and Accuracy

To complete the work, you may be asked to provide personal information, employment history, role details, achievements, qualifications, images, links, position descriptions and other supporting material.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate, lawful, current and not misleading.

Harveys Angel does not independently verify employment history, qualifications, licences, achievements, references or claims unless separately agreed in writing.

You are responsible for reviewing all drafts and final documents before using them.

4. Payment

Payment is required before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Work will not commence until payment has been received.

Invoices must be paid by the due date listed on the invoice.

Urgent work, weekend work, additional revisions, out-of-scope requests or substantial changes may attract additional fees.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Because Harveys Angel provides customised professional services and digital work, payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

This includes resume writing, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, Canva conversions, personal branding work, image editing, digital assets and strategy work.

Refunds are not provided for change of mind, change in personal circumstances, failure to provide required information, not applying for the role, missing an application deadline, or choosing not to use the completed work.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

If there is an issue with a service, Harveys Angel must first be given a reasonable opportunity to review and correct the issue.

6. Revisions

Packages may include a set number of revision rounds, as stated in the relevant package, quote, invoice or written agreement.

Revisions must relate to the original agreed scope.

A revision does not include changing the target role after work has started, rewriting for a completely different job, adding major new content after drafting has begun, changing the structure after approval, requesting a different document style after delivery, or repeated changes caused by incomplete or unclear client information.

Additional revisions, major rewrites or changes outside the agreed scope may attract an additional fee.

7. Turnaround Times

Turnaround times depend on availability, service type, client responsiveness and the quality of information provided.

Harveys Angel will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timeframes.

Delays may occur where information is missing, unclear, incomplete, provided late, or where the client does not respond within a reasonable time.

Harveys Angel is not responsible for missed application deadlines where the client has not provided all required information in time.

8. Resume File Formats and Editable Versions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final resume documents are supplied in PDF format only.

Microsoft Word documents are not included as a standard deliverable.

Harveys Angel designs resumes using professional layout and design tools to protect the visual presentation, formatting, spacing, structure and overall quality of the final document.

Where an editable version is required, this must be purchased as a Canva editable add-on, or included in the agreed package or invoice.

If a Canva editable version is not purchased or included, the client will receive the final approved resume in PDF format only.

Requests for additional file formats, editable files, Word recreation, Canva conversion or document reformatting after delivery may attract an additional fee.

Harveys Angel is not responsible for formatting changes, layout issues, font changes, spacing changes or design loss caused by a client editing, converting, uploading, exporting or reformatting the document through third-party tools or platforms.

9. Canva Files and Editable Documents

Where a Canva editable version is purchased or included in the agreed package, it is supplied for your personal use and future updates.

You are responsible for maintaining your own Canva account, access, files, edits and downloads.

Harveys Angel is not responsible for Canva account issues, platform changes, deleted files, broken links, design changes, font changes, access restrictions or third-party platform limitations once the Canva file has been transferred or shared.

10. Use of AI, Canva and Third-Party Tools

Harveys Angel may use selected third-party tools to support service delivery.

This may include AI-assisted writing and editing tools, Canva, Adobe tools, image editing tools, PDF tools, cloud storage, email platforms, website platforms, payment systems and invoicing systems.

These tools may be used to draft, format, edit, refine, convert, design, improve or deliver your documents and visual assets.

Where possible, Harveys Angel will use reasonable care when selecting tools and handling your information. However, third-party platforms operate under their own terms, privacy settings, security controls and data practices.

By approving the work to proceed, paying an invoice, submitting content or providing written instructions, you acknowledge and agree that reasonable use of these tools may be required to deliver the service.

If you do not want AI, Canva, Adobe or another third-party tool used, you must notify Harveys Angel in writing before work begins. This may affect whether the service can be delivered, the price or the turnaround time.

11. AI-Assisted Work

AI may be used from time to time to support drafting, structure, editing, formatting, idea generation, design, image enhancement or document refinement.

AI is used as a support tool only. Final judgement, editing, positioning and delivery remain with Harveys Angel.

AI outputs may not be unique. Similar wording, design concepts or generated outputs may be created for other users by AI systems.

Harveys Angel will take reasonable steps to review and refine AI-assisted outputs before delivery, but you remain responsible for reviewing and approving the final version before use.

Harveys Angel does not guarantee that AI-assisted content will be error-free, accepted by an employer, favoured by an applicant tracking system, or produce a specific employment outcome.

12. Image, Headshot and Visual Editing

If you provide a photo, headshot, logo, brand asset, screenshot, image or other visual content, you confirm that you own the content, or have permission to use it.

You also confirm that the content does not infringe another person’s rights and that you have authority to provide it to Harveys Angel.

Where image editing, enhancement, AI-assisted image generation, background changes, Canva editing, Adobe editing or similar tools are required, your approval to proceed with the service will be treated as approval for Harveys Angel to process the image using suitable tools.

This includes where you request a headshot improvement, image clean-up, background change, image recreation, social media visual, profile image, article image or Canva-ready asset.

Harveys Angel will take reasonable care with images provided, but cannot guarantee that AI or editing tools will produce a perfect, identical, natural or legally exclusive result.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving all final images before use.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

Harveys Angel may collect personal information required to provide services.

This may include your name, contact details, employment history, education, qualifications, achievements, career goals, images, online profiles, role advertisements and any other information you choose to provide.

Your information is collected for the purpose of providing the requested service, communicating with you, managing payment, maintaining records, improving services and meeting legal or business obligations.

Harveys Angel will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

However, no online system, email platform, AI tool, cloud service, website or third-party provider can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

By proceeding, you acknowledge that reasonable digital handling of your information is required to provide the service.

14. Cookies and Website Use

Harveys Angel may collect cookies or similar website data to help understand website use, improve the website experience and support basic analytics or marketing activity.

As a general rule, cookies do not personally identify you unless you provide additional information through the website or a connected service.

15. Direct Marketing

Harveys Angel may send updates, offers, resources or marketing material where you have opted in, purchased a product or service, enquired about services, or where otherwise permitted by law.

You may unsubscribe or request not to receive marketing communications at any time.

16. Overseas Processing and Third-Party Providers

Some third-party platforms used by Harveys Angel may store, process or access information outside Australia.

This may include AI platforms, Canva, Adobe, cloud storage providers, payment providers, email providers, website platforms and other business systems.

By approving the service and providing information, you acknowledge and agree that your information may be processed by these providers where reasonably required to deliver the service.

Harveys Angel will take reasonable care when using third-party services, but is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, outages, data practices or security incidents of third-party platforms, except where required by law.

17. Cyber Security and Data Incidents

Harveys Angel takes reasonable steps to protect client information, including the use of appropriate business systems, access controls, password protection and trusted third-party providers where practical.

However, cyber attacks, unauthorised access, phishing, malware, platform outages, provider failures and other security incidents can occur.

To the extent permitted by law, Harveys Angel is not liable for loss, damage, delay, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse caused by events outside its reasonable control, including cyber attacks or third-party platform breaches, where Harveys Angel has taken reasonable steps to protect the information.

Where Harveys Angel becomes aware of a data incident affecting your personal information, it will take reasonable steps to assess and respond to the incident.

If notification is legally required, Harveys Angel will notify affected individuals and/or relevant authorities in accordance with applicable Australian law.

18. Access, Correction and Privacy Complaints

You may contact Harveys Angel to request access to personal information held about you, or to request correction of inaccurate information.

If you have a privacy complaint, please contact Harveys Angel using the details below.

Harveys Angel will consider the complaint and may seek further information from you to clarify the concern.

If appropriate, Harveys Angel will take reasonable steps to address the issue.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

19. Client Approval

You are responsible for reviewing drafts and final documents carefully.

Approval of a draft, final document, Canva file, image or digital asset confirms that you have reviewed and accepted the content, layout, spelling, dates, claims, contact details, role information and overall presentation.

Once final approval has been provided, further changes may attract an additional fee.

20. No Employment Guarantee

Harveys Angel provides professional writing, positioning, branding and presentation support.

Harveys Angel does not guarantee job interviews, job offers, promotions, salary increases, recruiter responses, LinkedIn engagement, employer decisions, applicant tracking system results, visa outcomes, government panel outcomes or selection outcomes.

Career and recruitment decisions are made by third parties and are outside Harveys Angel’s control.

21. Intellectual Property

All templates, frameworks, wording structures, design layouts, methods, guides, resources and original materials created by Harveys Angel remain the intellectual property of Harveys Angel unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once full payment has been received, you receive a personal licence to use the completed final documents and assets for your own career, job search, personal branding or agreed business purpose.

You must not resell, copy, share, distribute, reproduce, modify for resale or use Harveys Angel templates, designs, documents or methods for commercial purposes without written permission.

22. Portfolio, Testimonials and Social Proof

Harveys Angel will not publish your resume, personal information, private documents or identifying details without your consent.

With your approval, Harveys Angel may use testimonials, de-identified examples, before-and-after concepts or general service outcomes for marketing, portfolio or educational purposes.

Any sensitive or personally identifying information will be removed unless you have given express permission.

23. Website Content and Use

You must not misuse the Harveys Angel website.

You must not copy, download, reproduce, store, scrape, distribute, republish, modify or commercially use website content, graphics, documents, resources, templates or materials without written permission from Marcia Harvey.

All website content and materials are owned by Harveys Angel unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorised use may result in termination of access and further action.

24. Third-Party Links

The Harveys Angel website or communications may include links to third-party websites, platforms, tools or resources.

These links are provided for convenience only.

Harveys Angel is not responsible for the content, terms, privacy practices, security, availability or accuracy of third-party websites or platforms.

You access third-party links at your own risk.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harveys Angel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or economic loss, including loss of opportunity, loss of income, loss of employment opportunity, loss of data or reputational loss.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Harveys Angel’s liability is limited, where permitted, to resupplying the service or paying the reasonable cost of having the service supplied again.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

26. Changes to These Terms

Harveys Angel may update these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy from time to time.

The version that applies to your service is the version available or provided at the time you approve the service, pay the invoice or otherwise agree to proceed.
